Ministry Team Staff
The materials of Establishing God's Peace course have come together through the work of many people. Beth Warlick and Verna McCrillis put the initial lessons together as they co-taught the first classes. Many others have given their suggestions and insights as they piloted the program in classes across the country. Even though it started as a 12 week women’s Bible study, the final product has become more of a discipleship program designed to bring a group together, learning how to know God intimately through discovering Him in Scripture and prayer. As this relationship grows, people learn to fully embrace God’s love and power (grace) and begin to trust His work in their lives.
In the early stages of EGP, Beth and Verna both lived in Norfolk, VA. Later, when Beth moved to Kansas, they continued to work via telephone, Internet and occasional visits. Recently Beth has felt called to work with those in her local body to develop new curriculum that would help prepare those not quite ready for a discipleship program like EGP. She will continue to teach and promote EGP but will no longer be involved in the administration.
Verna and an advisory committee are committed to maintaining, distributing and continued development of the materials and website for Establishing God's Peace. A Norfolk-based Board of Directors oversees and provides accountability for this group.
