Bloom where you are planted

Proverbs 3:5-8 (New International Version, ©2011)

5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.[a]

7 Do not be wise in your own eyes;
fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body
and nourishment to your bones.

Dear Warriors and spouses,

My heart is especially heavy for the spouses today as I just spoke to a group of young mothers. I know the particular struggle they have to support our warriors and thank God for them daily. The sacrifice they make silently and usually without recognition. In their support of their spouses, we are allowed the incredible gift of freedom.

I pray that you would truly trust in the Lord with all your heart and not carry the burden alone. Allow Him to make your path straight and be your strength. Ask Him to cause you to bloom where you are planted.
