God Is With You!


Joshua 1:9 (NASB), September 29, 2008

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

 God spoke these words of encouragement to Joshua as he led the people of Israel out of the desert and into the promised land to drive out the enemies who lived there. These words were alive with power and hope for Joshua enabling the people who had wandered through the desert for 40 years to take possession of the land. And these words are alive with power and hope for you today as God still calls you to battle, not against physical foes, but to win the even more important spiritual battles in your life. May you be strong and courageous in Him, He is with you wherever you go.
