You Are Gifted

TNIV Scripture for Thursday, October 2, 2008 [2 Timothy 1:6-9]

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God, who has saved us and called us to a holy life--not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time,

You have a supernatural gift through the Spirit of God that lives in the heart of every believer. Along with that gift, you also have access to power, agape love (unconditional and sacrificial) and a sound disciplined mind. May you grow in your relationship with God and allow Him to minister through you and your gift in the body of Christ.
God
Gave you the Spirit of God
Source of power, love and self-discipline in you through His Spirit
Your Savior
One who called you to a holy life
Source of grace
Gave grace to you through Christ Jesus before the beginning of time
