Will He give you a snake?
Luke 11:9-13 (New International Version)
9"So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 10For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
11"Which of you fathers, if your son asks for[a] a fish, will give him a snake instead? 12Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? 13If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him Love,

To my humble centurions...
Luke 7:2-10 (New International Version) 2There a centurion's servant, whom his master valued highly, was sick and about to die. 3The centurion heard of Jesus and sent some elders of the Jews to him, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4When they came to Jesus, they pleaded earnestly with him, "This man deserves to have you do this, 5because he loves our nation and has built our synagogue." 6So Jesus went with them. He was not far from the house when the centurion sent friends to say to him: "Lord, don't trouble yourself, for I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. 7That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, 'Go,' and he goes; and that one, 'Come,' and he comes. I say to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
9When Jesus heard this, he was amazed at him, and turning to the crowd following him, he said, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith even in Israel
Dear Warriors,
Thank you for amazing me with your humility and faith as you choose to protect our nation just as this centurion amazed our dear Lord and Savior. May you be encouraged by us noticing your quiet acts of trust in Him.
Love,

Will your bow remain steady?
Genesis 49:22-26 (New International Version)
22 "Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine near a spring, whose branches climb over a wall. [a]
23 With bitterness archers attacked him; they shot at him with hostility.
24 But his bow remained steady, his strong arms stayed [b] limber, because of the hand of the Mighty One of Jacob, because of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,
25 because of your father's God, who helps you, because of the Almighty, [c] who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, blessings of the breast and womb.
26 Your father's blessings are greater than the blessings of the ancient mountains, than [d] the bounty of the age-old hills. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among [e] his brothers.
Dear Warriors,
May this same blessing be on you as well with your Father's blessing resting on your head.
Love,

Are you wanting?
Psalm 23 A psalm of David. 1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, [a] I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Love,

for him who believes...
Mark 9:23-29 (New International Version)
23" 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for him who believes."
24Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"
25When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the evil[a] spirit. "You deaf and mute spirit," he said, "I command you, come out of him and never enter him again."
26The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, "He's dead." 27But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up.
28After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, "Why couldn't we drive it out?"
29He replied, "This kind can come out only by prayer.
Dear Warriors,
Remember that everything is possible for him who believes! There are times that prayers are the only answer.
Lord, thank you that prayers are important to You and everything is possible for the believers. What power and reassurance we have in You!

A Mother's hope
Psalm 18:47-48 (New International Version)
47 He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me,
48 who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from violent men you rescued me.
Dear Warriors,
This is who I want guarding your back! He avenges, subdues, saves, exalts, and rescues my most precious resource and keeper of the watch.
Lord, I thank you for your vigilant watch over those so precious to me. You do save them from their enemies and rescue them in times of trouble and we are so grateful. Thank you that your eyes are always on our warriors.
Love,

Lord, you are my refuge
Psalm 18:1-3 For the director of music. Of David the servant of the LORD. He sang to the LORD the words of this song when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said: 1 I love you, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn [a] of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.
My dear Warriors,
These words are all to familiar to my sons. I know they will remember the song that I sang constantly with these words when they were young. More importantly, I pray that they as well as you benefit from the message and realize that He is indeed you rock, fortress and deliverer!
Love,

He is faithful in all He does...
“For the word of the LORD is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.”- Psalm 33:4-5
Dear Warrior,
Cling to this verse and know... Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. When life is unbearably difficult ,I pray that you would realize and praise God for His unfailing love. The earth is full of it, indeed.
With a heavy heart and all my love,
Mom

Who proclaimed His glory?
Matthew 27:54 (New International Version)
54When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, "Surely he was the Son[a] of God!"
Dear Warriors,
I am always humbled by who God puts in key positions to proclaim His glory! This is clearly one , perhaps even soaked in His precious blood, the Centurion carrying out orders and yet it is obvious to him Who this was!
I pray that you would be that kind of a warrior that would simply proclaim who He is...the Son of God!
Love,

Are you wise in your own eyes?
Proverbs 3:5-7 (New International Version)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. [a]
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
Dear Warriors,
It is so easy to be wise in your own eyes. We think we have the answers but in fact, we don't. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts.
Job 28:28 says it all.
28 And he said to man, 'The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.' "
I pray that you would trust in the Lord with all you heart and let the Him make your path straight.
love,
