A Party in Heaven for You [Luke 15, TNIV]

Then Jesus told them this parable: 'Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

The ninety-nine need to repent, too. They just don't know it because they compare themselves to other people and not with God and His standard. Whenever a person comes in contact with the holy God, there is only one response and that is with fear and humility. May you see the true God and say with Isaiah:

5Then I said,
"Woe is me, for I am ruined!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts." [Isaiah 6:5 NASB]

May you walk with the Lord today and always with a repentant heart in fear and humilty.
